Dessert wine
Prunus Domestica - Organic Plum Dessert Wine 12,5% The oldest plum varieties probably came to Sogn with monks in the Middle Ages. Plums were less valued than apples and pears, and plum trees were often left in the outskirts of fields. Recently plums have become the most exclusive fruit we grow, with varieties like Reine Claude D’Oullins, Victoria, Mallard, Jubileum, and Reeves. Prunus Domestica is the Latin name for plum. This is a sweet dessert wine produced from the juice of varieties grown organically in the Cider House orchard. It is aged for at least 2 years and has a distinctive and sweet plum taste with a hint of almond and a light sherry character. Can be enjoyed as apéritif, or paired with pâté, cheese, cakes, and desserts. Amber, sweet, 12.5% by volume, 50 cl Vinmonopolet BU EDP number 4339685 |
